so I say “Hey, nice shirt. I also have a pomeranian (white lie- i have 2 cats)”. He then tells me the sad story of his beloved and dead pomeranian, Lola. His wife had her stuffed in Wisconsin, forever in a sleeping position. Lola lies at his wife’s feet while she watches tv all day long, like Lola did when she was alive.
